Die Kollekte wird an diesem und am nächsten Sonntag für die eigene Pfarrei erbeten.

Hl. Messe in englischer Sprache beginnt nächsten Sonntag 17.30 Uhr.

Die Gottesdienste sind in dieser Woche von Montag bis Donnerstag zu den gewohnten Zeiten. Am Herz-Jesu-Freitag feiern wir 17.00 Uhr die Hl. Messe mit eucharistischer Anbetung bis 18.00 Uhr.

In der Reha-Klinik Hetzdorf ist am Freitag 19.00 Uhr Gottesdienst.

Der byzantinische Gottesdienst in ukrainischer Sprache wird am nächsten Samstag bereits 8.00 Uhr beginnen.

Beichtgelegenheit ist samstags 17.00 Uhr in der Pfarrkirche.

Holy Mass – Heilige Messe in englischer Sprache – feiern wir am nächsten Sonntag 17.30 Uhr in der Pfarrkirche.

Maiandacht ist am Mittwoch, 01. Mai, 16.30 Uhr in der Pfarrkirche.

Herzliche Einladung zur Stillen Anbetung am Mittwoch 19.00 Uhr bis 19.30 Uhr.

Der Kirchenchorprobe am Mittwoch fällt aus.

Die Kolpingfamilie unternimmt am Mittwoch, den 01.05. eine Ausfahrt nach Olbernhau. Treff ist 8.45 Uhr am Gemeindezentrum. Weitere Informationen sind aus dem Aushang zu ersehen.

Die Jugend trifft sich am Freitag 19.00 Uhr an der Rülein-Halle Freiberg, Meissner Ring, zum Fußballspielen: Bitte saubere Turnschuhe zum Wechseln mitbringen.

Die Ausstellung Kirche in Not – Verfolgte Christen weltweit – wird mit einem Vortrag eröffnet am nächsten Sonntag 16.30 Uhr im Pfarrgemeindezentrum Freiberg. (Deshalb wird es am ersten Mai-Sonntag keine Maiandacht geben.)

Die Erstkommuniongruppe trifft sich zur Katechese am Samstag von 10.00 bis 12.00 Uhr im Pfarrgemeindezentrum.

Die neuen Pfarrbriefe liegen zum Mitnehmen in der Kirche aus.

Am Hochfest Christi Himmelfahrt findet in Oederan an der katholischen Kirche ein Tag der Begegnung unserer Pfarrei statt. Ab 11.30 Uhr ist die Gemeinde recht herzlich zum Grillen, gemeinsamen Kennenlernen und Gesprächen eingeladen. Mit der Maiandacht 14.30 Uhr endet der Begegnungstag. Die Heiligen Messen an diesem Tag sind jeweils 8.30 Uhr in Flöha und Hainichen, in
Freiberg 10.00 Uhr.

Die katholische Gemeinde St. Joseph Chemnitz hat für eine Fahrt nach Augsburg noch Plätze frei. Termin der Ausfahrt ist der 3. bis 9. Juni geplant. Preis pro Person im DZ 799,00 €.

Announcements from 27.04. – 05.05.2024 – St. Johannis the Evangelist Freiberg

The collection this Sunday and next Sunday is requested for our own parish.

Masses this week are from Monday to Thursday at the usual times.
On Sacred Heart Friday, we celebrate Holy Mass at 5.00 pm with Eucharistic Adoration until 6.00 pm.

There will be a mass at the Hetzdorf Rehabilitation Clinic on Friday at 7.00 pm.

The Byzantine service in Ukrainian will be held next Saturday starting at 8.00 am.

Confession is at 5.00 pm on Saturdays in the parish church.

Holy Mass – Holy Mass in English – will be celebrated next Sunday at 5.30 pm in the parish church.

May devotions are on Wednesday, 01 May, 4.30 pm in the parish church.

We cordially invite you to silent adoration on Wednesday 7.00 pm to 7.30 pm.

The church choir rehearsal on Wednesday is cancelled.

The Kolping family is going on an excursion to Olbernhau on Wednesday, 01 May. Meeting time is 8.45 am at the community centre. Further information can be found on the notice board.

The youth meet on Friday at 7.00 pm at the Rülein-Halle Freiberg, Meissner Ring, to play football: Please bring a change of clean trainers.

The exhibition Church in Need - Persecuted Christians worldwide - will open with a lecture next Sunday at 4.30 pm in the Freiberg Parish Centre. (There will therefore be no May devotions on the first Sunday in May).

The First Communion group will meet for catechesis on Saturday from 10.00 to 12.00 in the parish centre.

The new parish newsletters are available for collection in the church.

On the Solemnity of the Ascension there will be a parish meeting day at the Catholic church in Oederan. From 11.30 a.m., the community is cordially invited to a barbecue, to get to know each other and to chat. The meeting day ends with a May devotion at 2.30 pm. The Holy Masses on this day are at 8.30 a.m. in Flöha and Hainichen, and at 10.00 a.m. in Freiberg.

The Catholic parish of St Joseph Chemnitz still has places available for a trip to Augsburg. The trip is planned for 3 to 9 June. Price per person in a double room € 799.00.
